Os citroflavon\u00f3ides, por exemplo, podem ser encontrados em ma\u00e7\u00e3s, amoras, uvas, cebolas, cerejas, laranjas, toranja, lim\u00f5es, br\u00f3colos, alface e tomate. As rotinas est\u00e3o presentes em casca de uva, amora e citrinos.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9m na pimenta, na ma\u00e7\u00e3, no tomate e nos br\u00f3colos, bem como no vinho tinto. Os idoflavon\u00f3ides, entretanto, est\u00e3o contidos em tofu, soja, gr\u00e3o-de-bico, leite, feij\u00e3o ou lentilhas. Nas sementes de uva tamb\u00e9m encontramos proanthocyanidinas.<\/p>\n

Os pigmentos de cerejas, mirtilos e ameixas devem-se \u00e0 presen\u00e7a de antocianinas. No ch\u00e1 verde, preto, vermelho e alimentos como pera, cacau e ma\u00e7\u00e3 encontramos flavonoides como catequinas.<\/p>\n

Em pimenta e laranja h\u00e1 hesperidinas. Por outro lado, encontramos kaempferol em br\u00f3colos, alho-porro, r\u00e1dio, beterraba vermelha, endibias andronja. Os cianos s\u00e3o encontrados em rabanete, cerejas, morangos e amoras.<\/p>\n

Os flavonoides s\u00e3o compostos que foram descobertos por Szen-Gyergy,<\/strong>laureado com o Nobel. Em 1930, conseguiu isolar a citrina, uma subst\u00e2ncia respons\u00e1vel pela regula\u00e7\u00e3o da permeabilidade dos seus capilares, da casca de um lim\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

Inicialmente, estes compostos chamavam-se vitamina P. Tamb\u00e9m como vitamina C2 depois de se ter descoberto que alguns deles continham propriedades muito semelhantes \u00e0 vitamina C.<\/a><\/p>\n
