Anti-inflammatory properties<\/h3>\n

Several studies have been conducted to determine the importance of humulene as an anti-inflammatory agent. In 2007 research<\/a>, caryophyllene and humulene were found to have anti-inflammatory properties. This terpene was also found to be effective in reducing pain and providing relief<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fact, researchers found that the anti-inflammatory effects of humulene were comparable to those of dexamethasone, a drug used to treat asthma<\/a>, allergies and even rheumatic problems.<\/p>\n

In other words, humulene can be used as an anti-inflammatory<\/strong>. Of course, doctors will need to do much more research before prescribing cannabis strains containing humulene, but it is certainly promising research.<\/p>\n
