Does CBD Full Spectrum Oil set?

CBD is one of more than 100 cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant

If you’re approximately my generation, you’ll probably associate the word cannabis with a drug, marijuana. You may have come to this article because you think CBD has the same effect as marijuana, but nothing could be further from the truth! Indeed, marijuana is the female cannabis plant while hemp is the male variant. Each of these two plants has a different cannabinoid content. THC is the cannabinoid that causes the high: the feeling of euphoria, psychedelia and, in general, all the psychotropic effects. However, the CBD has completely different effects. In the following article we will tell you why it is impossible to get a high from many bottles of CBD oil you consume.

How does a marijuana high feel?

If you’ve never experienced it, you may not know what it’s like to be high, what it’s like to smoke marijuana, and what THC can do to your brain. THC connects with the cannabinoid receptors of our endocannabinoid system and emulates the effects of anandamide by unbalancing the neurotransmitter levels in our brain. Although they vary from person to person, generally the effects of (short-term) high include

Psychological effects of marijuana high

  • Feeling of euphoria
  • Relaxation
  • Memory loss
  • Increased sensitivity of sense perception
  • Hunger
  • Hallucinations / Psychedelia

The physical effects of marijuana high

  • Increased heart rate
  • Dry Mouth
  • Red eyes
  • Muscle relaxation

These effects usually appear about 30 minutes after smoking marijuana (it will take longer if THC is administered orally) and can last for a few hours until your body eliminates the substance.

Types of marijuana or cannabis plants

There are different strains of the plant depending on their THC and CBD levels and they are used to achieve different effects. In general they can be divided into 3 groups:

Sativa: it is the marijuana with the highest THC content. It originates from warm areas that offer many hours of light. It is a tall bush and its leaves are narrower and longer. Its use is more recreational because of its high THC content.

Indica: this variety of marijuana has a higher content in CBD and lower in THC. It originated in Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Turkey and has adapted to the extreme climate of the Kush mountainous area (hence the colloquial name Kush for this type of marijuana). Indica marijuana plants are smaller shrubs, do not reach much height and their leaves are more oval and wide than those of the sativa. Its effects are relaxing so people prefer to use it at night.

Hybrids: these are mixed marijuana strains. Their genetics contain the two aforementioned strains and are created to achieve certain THC and CBD levels as well as to optimize their cultivation and yield.

cbd does not place

Why doesn't the CBD place?

Although it is a cannabinoid (like THC), it interferes with our endocannabinoid system in a very different way. THC connects directly to the cannabinoid receptors of our endocannabinoid system emulating the anandamide endocannabinoid. What the CBD really does is stimulate the natural production of natural endocannabinoids. Nothing that happens in our bodies when we use CBD is unrealisticThe only thing it supports is that we naturally reach homeostasis. Homeostasis is the well-being of our organism, it is achieved when all our systems are working properly.

How does CBD oil make you feel?

The main feeling of the CBD is relaxation. People who have tried it agree that it is capable of neutralizing pain and relaxing nerves and stress. However, if you’ve ever been “high” and are looking for that immediate effect of the substances they put in when they reach the bloodstream, you won’t experience it by taking CBD oil. That’s why you may have found some reviews on the internet about CBD oils from users who are used to marijuana high that claim they haven’t felt anything when consuming CBD oils.

The bioavailability of CBD in your body plays an important role in how it makes you feel. By smoking or smoking cannabidiol its bioavailability will be increased and you will notice its relaxing effects almost instantly. While if given orally, it will take longer to work and less CBD will get into the bloodstream.

What does an overdose or CBD poisoning look like?

The maximum dose of CBD poisoning is greater than 1500mg per day in an average adult (more than a whole bottle of CBD 10%). It’s a huge amount of oil that you would have to ingest to achieve what you might call a CBD overdose. The effects this produces are nothing more than drowsiness, headache and nausea that immediately stop after reducing the dose or when your body eliminates the excess. There is no known lethal dose of CBD although a 2017 scientific study in mice warned that very high doses of CBD potentially produce liver damage.

cbd and other drugs

CBD reaction with other drugs

If you are taking other medication you should consult your doctor before starting a treatment with CBD. Just as CBD by itself is unable to get you high it is possible that it blocks the metabolism and elimination of other drugs you are taking at the same time. That is, it could cause your blood levels of the other drugs you take simultaneously to rise and “get high” and even overdose on these other drugs.

Does CBD Full Spectrum Oil set?

We have discussed that CBD alone does not produce any “high” but full spectrum CBD oils do not contain only this isolated cannabinoid. These full spectrum oils preserve other cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant.

But are they able to place? No.

The psychoactive effects of CBD are associated with THC. Hemp strains with a THC content of less than 0.2% (which is the legal limit) are used to extract oils from full spectrum CBD. To achieve a THC high you need about 200-300mg of cannabis (depending on your level of experience with the substance) administered orally while one bottle of CBD Full Spectrum 10% oil contains at most 1mg THC. Although the other terpenes, cannabinoids and flavonoids you will find in the full spectrum CBD oils do not “settle”, they are very beneficial in supporting the sequitur effect of the cannabis components and in preserving their aromas and nuances.
