Die Urspr\u00fcnge des dritten Cannabinoid-Rezeptors GPR55<\/h2>\n

Der GPR55-Rezeptor <\/strong>wurde erstmals 2007 als “neuartiger Cannabinoid-Rezeptor” identifiziert. Dies geht aus einer Studie hervor, die vom National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI<\/a>) durchgef\u00fchrt und ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. So wurde zum Beispiel festgestellt, dass der GPR55-Rezeptor eine wichtige Rolle bei der Kontrolle der Osteoklastenaktivit\u00e4t spielt. Und zwar bei der Knochenbildung und -heilung, wie eine 2009 in PNAS ver\u00f6ffentlichte Studie<\/a> zeigt. Auch das National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) hat 2016 einen Bericht ver\u00f6ffentlicht, in dem es eine \u00e4hnliche Rolle bei der Behandlung von Entz\u00fcndungen feststellt.<\/p>\n

Nicht nur das, eine 2015 in Frontiers in Pharmacology ver\u00f6ffentlichte Studie<\/a> ergab, dass zwei Orphan-Rezeptoren sowie der GPR55-Rezeptor vielversprechende therapeutische Ziele sein k\u00f6nnten. Das liegt daran, dass sie verschiedene physiologische Funktionen erf\u00fcllen, die von der Linderung von Magen-Darm-St\u00f6rungen<\/strong> bis hin zu Knochenerkrankungen reichen.<\/p>\n

Das G steht f\u00fcr Guanin<\/strong>, das eine Nukleotidbase ist und damit als einer der “Bausteine” der DNA gilt.<\/p>\n

Aufgrund der Art und Weise, wie diese Cannabinoidrezeptoren<\/a> mit den Zellen interagieren, ist Guanin mit allen von ihnen verbunden.<\/p>\n

Laut Robert Sindelar, der wissenschaftlicher Leiter und Direktor der Produktentwicklung bei BAS Research ist, einem lizenzierten Hersteller von Cannabisprodukten mit Sitz in Berkeley, Kalifornien, empf\u00e4ngt der Cannabinoidrezeptor die Chemikalie und sendet dann Signale an Zellen wie Neuronen.<\/p>\n
