Amb l’etimologia de l’estat grec “Homo”- igual i “Estasi” significa mantenir un estat intern constant. Avui en dia la medicina moderna ha ressuscitat aquest terme i busca l’home\u00f2stasi com un objectiu terap\u00e8utic.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Els nostres sensors a tot el cos envien senyals al cervell sobre el que est\u00e0 passant fora i com ens afecta en tot moment. Qu\u00e8 ha d’estar en equilibri perqu\u00e8 “tot estigui b\u00e9”?<\/h2>\n

Per exemple, els \u00e9ssers humans s\u00f3n endot\u00e8rmics pel que hem de regular la nostra temperatura corporal perqu\u00e8 sempre es quedi al voltant de 36 o 37oC. Els nostres nivells sanguinis de sucre, aigua, sals, oxigen, etc… tamb\u00e9 s’han d’estabilitzar perqu\u00e8 la resta del nostre cos funcioni amb normalitat. \u00c9s a dir, s’han d’equilibrar innombrables variables que ens afecten biol\u00f2gicament per assegurar-nos que el nostre organisme funcioni correctament.<\/p>\n

Tamb\u00e9 enviar\u00e0 senyals perqu\u00e8 els seus capil\u00b7lars es dilatin per ajudar a desfer-se de la calor insofrible que est\u00e0 alterant la temperatura corporal homeost\u00e0tica. Si de sobte entres en un centre comercial amb aire condicionat complet, llavors vost\u00e8 comen\u00e7ar\u00e0 a cansar-se com el cos intentar\u00e0 de nou augmentar la temperatura corporal.<\/p>\n
